Apple and ASUS, the leading seller of tablets in Japan

According to research DigiTimes, ASUS and Apple are currently the two biggest sellers in Japan tablet. In terms of operating system, Android and iOS dominate the market in Japan.

DigiTimes Research shows that during the period January-October 2013, more than 94.4 percent of the market in Japan was dominated by Android and iOS.

Especially for Apple, Japan is a very lucrative market, the fact is the market with the fastest growth with 15 per cent more than anywhere else in the world.

Figures published earlier this year showed that Apple has 37 percent and 50 percent of the market for intelligent phones and tablets in the country, respectively.

During fiscal year sales of Apple in Japan grew by 30 percent. In October, iPhone sales accounted for 76 percent of all sales of mobile intelligent instead.
